Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) Cat

Bert the Cat needs a home

Hi!

I am a veterinarian in the Columbus area and I am searching for placement help for two adult cats.  These cats are/were owed by my husband's aunt who has Alzheimer's disease.  Recently she has decompensated rapidly and is being moved to a long term inpatient care facility.

They are currently boarding at my hospital, but I do not get enough people seeking adoptions (especially of adult cats) to hope that I will be able to rehome them quickly.  They are both black DSH MN, 4yr old healthy cats.  I just updated their vaccines last week.  They are very sweet boys. They get along quite well, but don't strike me as so attached that they couldn't be separated for adoption if needed.

If you have any room for these boys in your adoption program, or know of any groups who might, you can contact me via this email or on my cell (614-537-4082).
